Start a Side Hustle To Make Money NOW
I spent many years trying to figure out how to generate a full-time income from my blog using sponsored posts and affiliate income.
Finally, I realized that I needed to create my own products and services rather than rely on advertisers. This was an important turning point: by relying on advertisers, I wasn’t in control of my income. I wanted to be in control of my income. So I created an online course.
Here are 3 important steps that helped me turn my side hustle into a full time business.
Step 1: Review Your Mindset
In order to pass this milestone in your business, you have to stop caring what other people think and focus on you. You have to stop following all your competitors and seeing what they are doing. You just need to do your own thing.
You also need to have a system every week where you review your goals and set goals for the next week. If you aren’t doing this yet, you need to. Reaching a six figure goal requires planning and commitment. It also requires execution. Set a weekly date with yourself to review the week and set 3 things you are going to do for the following week to reach your goal. You have to stay focused and work through the phases of Corporate Rescue Plan which will tell you exactly what you need to do.
The last thing you want to do is to get clear on your current mindset traps. What are you telling yourself about money? What blocks do you have? Have you ever had any of the following thoughts?
Step 2: Clarify Your Offer
Often people get stuck and plateau before hitting six figures because they are either trying to sell too many products and haven’t focused down or their audience isn’t clear how their product can help them. I often get asked by people, “Anna, what should my offer be?” By asking this question, they are wondering what deliverables they should include in their offer and what they should charge.
This is a mistake. Why? Because an offer isn’t about what they get when they buy. An offer is the transformation that you provide by your product or service. How is someone’s life better after they purchase your product? THIS is your offer.
In order to get clear on your offer, you also need to know the reason that people will buy your offer and the cost of not buying. Will they lose money or time? Will it impact their health? If they don’t buy, what is the cost?
Remember, people don’t buy because you provide 10 videos and 3 beautiful worksheets. People will buy because they want the transformation your product or service provides. They have a problem that they want solved.

Step 3: Get Visible
So you have a great offer, but no one is going to be able to buy it if they don’t even know who you are! That’s why we have to get visible and outside of our comfort zone. It’s easy to stay comfortable and not put yourself out there. This is where all your mindset work will be very helpful and reminding yourself not to worry about what everyone else is doing.

When I was at this point, I had to unsubscribe and unfollow some people on social media because I was getting distracted and jealous. To this day, I follow no one else in my field because it distracts me. I am here to make an impact in my own way and do what I was born to do. I don’t need to follow all my competitors to get ideas of what I should do or say. Is there anyone you need to unfollow?
Also, when you are at this point it’s also important to take the focus off of yourself. Guess what friend….building a business isn’t about you. It’s about how you help others and solve problems. There are people out there that NEED you right now! They need help SO BADLY with your product. If they never hear about you, how can they change their life. They are waiting for you right this very second to start being visible and putting yourself out there. It’s not about you. It’s about them.

Remember your plan will probably change when you start a side hustle to make money. That’s why we do 90-day planning here! What got you here won’t get you there. That means how you THINK you’ll hit six figures right now, will probably look a little different.
You’ll have to make changes and pivots. One product won’t work so you might have to change it. One market won’t work so you might have to change it. Your message might not convert, so you might have to change it.
One thing is for sure, to reach six figures, there will be a lot of change. You’ll need to take imperfect action and adjust your plan as needed as you get more clarity and confidence in your product or service.
