Thanks to all of you for stopping by during the Work Holiday Gift Poll and sharing what you give to your boss and co-workers for Christmas gifts. I learned from you all that all companies are different and gift giving really depends on your corporate culture. I usually run out of time and forget to give gifts and cards to my co-workers but this year I am going to make a point to plan ahead and pass them out to everyone I work with! I hope you are getting an early start to your holiday shopping and card writing as well.
Etiquette: Holiday Office Gifts
Here are some great office gift ideas just in time for Black Friday shopping!
1) Jar of Granola. I made homemade granola one year and it was a hit! It took a little time to make but it was definitely well worth the effort.
2) Starbucks Gift Card. Who doesn’t want a peppermint mocha this time of year?
3) Homemade Christmas cookies!
4) A Coffee Mug- Who doesn’t need more caffeine?
5) Can’t go wrong with Godiva chocolate! It’s the gift that you will probably get a taste of when your co-workers open the chocolates in the office!
6) Christmas cards – Why not write a quick note to thank your employees or co-workers for their efforts over the past year?
7) Kill office germs with hand soap? Why not!
8) A bamboo plant to freshen up the office.
9) We could all use a bottle of wine to enjoy after work, right?
10) How many books are on your book shelf? Why not give your favorites to your co-workers? If you thought they were great, there is a good chance that those working with you will also. And it gives you something to talk about!
